Focus and Scope
Folia Medica Indonesiana (FMI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal committed to publishing high-quality scientific research that advances clinical medicine and health professions. The journal primarily focuses on clinical studies, as well as research addressing the education, practice, and development of health professionals.
FMI welcomes original research reports, systematic reviews and/or meta-analyses, bibliometric analyses, and case series with scoping review discussions that contribute to the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, management, and outcomes of human diseases and health conditions. The journal also considers research in health professions, clinical practice, health-care delivery, and health professions-related biochemistry and biomolecular sciences, particularly studies with clinical or translational relevance that provide meaningful evidence for patient care, health-professional practice, disease prevention, and the improvement of health-care systems.
