Folia Medica Indonesiana is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on health and medical sciences in Indonesia and other from lower to upper middle income countries. Folia Medica Indonesiana upholds rigorous ethical standards and applies a double-blind peer review to maintain high-quality publication. We have been accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia since 2016; the latest accreditation is no. 158/E/KPT/2021 (start from volume 56, issue 4 [2020] to volume 61, issue 3 [2025]). This journal has also been indexed in the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). In October 2024, Folia Medica Indonesiana was transferred from the OJS 3 platform to the Digital Commons (Elsevier).
